BGIS 2023 Full Format is Here, Check Details

Krafton unveils the full format of the highly anticipated Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. The BGIS 2023 will feature a total prize pool of Rs 2 crore, and the final of the BGIS 2023 will be a Lan Event. Check out the Full Format of the event below.

There are several phases in BGIS 2023, starting with The Grind, in-game qualifiers, Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Losers Bracket, Semi-Finals, and Grand Finals.

The Grind

The Grind is already stated, where 256 teams were invited from the inaugural season of BGIS.

256 Teams Divided into two parts 128 each

  • Week 1: The first 128 will play, and 64 will advance to Week 3.
  • Week 2: The remaining 128 will play, and 64 will advance to week 4.
  • Week 3: The first 64 will play, and 32 will qualify for the next round.
  • Week 4: The remaining 64 will play, and 32 will qualify for the next round.
  • Week 5: Top 32 teams will qualify for round 3 and bottom 32 teams will move to round 2 of main event.

A total of 64 Teams qualify for the BGIS 2023 Round 2 and Round 3.

Ingame Qualifiers:

The best 2048 Teams from the in-game qualifiers will qualify for the BGIS 2023. Teams need to play 15 matches overall with their registered squad members; their best 10 matches will count in the overall result.

Round 1

2048 teams from online qualifiers will enter BGIS 2023 Round 1, where they are divided into 128 groups, and the top 3 teams (384 Teams) from every group and 96 high-ranked teams advance to Round 2 of BGIS.

Round 2

480 teams from round 1 meet with the 32 bottom teams from The Grind. From a total of 512 teams, only 224 will qualify for round 3.

Round 3

Now the 224 qualified teams from Round 2 will battle with the top 32 teams from The Grind. The top 4 teams from every group (64 Teams) advance to Round 4, and Teams ranked from 65 to 80 (16 Teams) move on to the Losers Bracket.

Round 4

The top 4 Teams from each group (16 teams) enter the semi-finals of BGIS 2023, and the remaining 48 teams will go to the Losers bracket, where 16 teams from Round 3 are already present.

Losers Bracket

48 teams from round 4 and 16 teams from round 3 battle for the semi-final spot, and 16 teams from the losers bracket will advance to the semi-finals.

Semi-Finals

Now 16 teams from Round 4 and 16 teams from the losers bracket will play, and the top 16 teams advance to the Grand Finals of BGIS 2023.

Grand Finals

The top 16 teams from the semi-finals will play in the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals, which is a Lan Event featuring Audience.
