eISL Season 2 League – Retention List of All the clubs, Available slots, and more: The second edition of eISL is just around the corner and we are almost set for the league stage with the online qualifiers already getting underway a few days back. All the clubs had a chance to retain one player from the allotted two in the previous year. Some had decided to retain one, while some decided not to retain any. eISL Season 2 League
The online qualifiers began on the 22nd of January with the last qualifier scheduled for the 31st of January. Chennaiyin FC, the defending champions of the competition, got the first choice of qualifiers. Karman Tikka won the first qualifiers to join the Marina Machans, while Mumbai City FC welcome Aditya Chaddha and Saksham Rattan to their roster. The league stage is expected to begin in the second week of February 2023.

All 11 ISL clubs will be a part of the second season, and a total of 22 esports athletes will be a part of it. Out of the 22 available spots, 6 have already been filled through club retention. Here’s the list of teams and their retained players.
- Chennaiyin FC retained Navin Haridoss.
- East Bengal FC retained Shayantan Mondal.
- FC Goa retained Vanshaj Sharma.
- North East United FC retained Emaad Ahmed.
- Kerala Blasters FC retained Lokmanyu Chaturvedi from Kerala Blaster FC.
- Jamshedpur FC retained Arvind S
Interested gamers will be allowed to register for and participate in more than one club qualifier, as long as they have not already qualified to represent a club.
