EA intends to bring back this iconic Dead Space series to the next-gen consoles as a Dead Space remake with tons of improvement to make on the previous version. Dead Space is a science-fiction, horror game developed by Visceral Games and was first released in 2008 by Electronic Arts (EA). Since then, this fan favorite series got six sequels of Dead Space with the latest being the Dead Space 3, which was released in 2013. EA has already announced the arrival of the Dead Space remake and will be coming to the next-gen consoles PS5, Xbox Series X/S as well as PC.
Dead Space Remake – ComparisionThe senior producer of Dead Space, Phillippe Ducharme also said,” We have a passionate team at Motive who are approaching this remake as a love letter to the franchise. Going back to the original and having the opportunity to do so on next-gen consoles excited everyone on the team.” EA has also reached out to the Dead Space Community to gain feedback from the fans as the Dead Space remake goes through the early development stages. The Dead Space teaser trailer revealed some details in the game that fully resembled the previous dark identity of the franchise.
Dead Space RemakeThe Dead Space remake is expected to release in the second quarter of the year 2022. EA developers said, “The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up by Motive Studios to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. Harnessing the power of Frostbite game engine and next generation consoles, this remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity and improvements to gameplay while staying true to the original.” EA is promising that they are going to bring some major changes in the Dead space remake over the previous version and overall gameplay will get a major enhancement as well.
