The first match-up ended on a 2-0 score line in the favor of Canada. Canada took home the next match as well with four goals but even though the Indians tried their best, they had to settle for only two goals. The last match saw no goals from the side of India as Canada dumped four in the Indian net.
The Indian Rocket League team will be led by Hargun Singh, with Sandeep Sahani and Rushil Reddy as the other two members. The team has achieved multiple laurels and also performed dominantly in the qualifiers to book a seat at the Commonwealth Esports Championships. Therefore, fans of the Indian Contingent will be expecting the team to qualify for the finals on August 6th-7th.

The matches will be taking place in a Best of 5 format. The first team to register three match wins over their opponent will get the points. Furthermore, team with the highest points in each group will move on to play the semis tomorrow.
