They announced 4 major events featuring a massive prize pool of 6 Crore INR. Krafton has announced the changes in the format and schedule of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge. Krafton thanks the BGMI community for the amazing support during the announcement of the roadmap. The first-ever Battlegrounds Mobile India esports event “BGIS 2021” has seen 600k+ registrations. The event has generated 200M+ views and hit a peak viewership of 493k+. Let’s take a look at the details of the first BGMI esports event of 2022.

Registration- Krafton announces the new registration date for the event which is 14th March 2022 and it will end on 27th March 2022.

BMOC 2022 Registrations will be starting on 14th March, Check the updated format and schedule

Registration for the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA OPEN CHALLENGE will be open from March 14th to March 27th. The in-game qualifiers will take place right after this where a total of 512 teams competing in Round 1. With these 512 teams pitted against one another, 256 teams will advance to Round 2, where 64 teams will proceed further. In Round 3, these 64 teams will be put to the ultimate test and top 32 teams will advance for the BMPS qualifiers. 

The top 32 teams will advance to Season 1 of the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES, where they will compete against 32 invited teams in Round 4 of the qualifiers (BMPS). These 32 teams must compete in a Round Robin format after setting the stage for an exciting championship. Only 16 deserving teams will advance to the BMPS Season 1 grand finale, where one victor will walk away with a prize pool of INR 75 lakhs.

BMOC is open to all tournaments that will work as qualifiers for the professional league. Get ready with your team to battle in one of the most hyped events.
