BLAST Premier World Finals 2021 Day 1: The biggest BLAST series event of the year, the BLAST Premier World Finals 2021 has kicked off earlier today. 8 teams from the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional circuit have made their way to the tournament. Day 1 has taken place today where Team Liquid and Gambit Esports proceeds to the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Here is a detailed summary and details of the event.

The finals 2021 will be conducted from 14th till 19th December. The event will be held offline on LAN, unlike the previous year. Audiences will get a chance to spectate their favorite teams playing on stage for the trophy.

TEAM LIQUID vs NATUS VINCERE- 

Team Liquid faced the NaVi at the very first match of BLAST World Finals 2021. In the best of three series, Liquid started with the win in the overpass. At the Dust II map NaVi bounce back to the team. Team Liquid come back stronger at the map of inferno and win the series with a 2-1 score. This was the first time when Team Liquid wins against the Natus Vincere at the Blast World Finals.

GAMBIT ESPORTS VS HEROIC- 

Gambit Esports wins the match against Heroic with a 2-0 score. This was the easy win series against Heroic where the score of both maps are 16-11 and 16-10. Gambit proceeds to the Upper bracket semifinals where they will face the Team Liquid.

Prize Pool and Where to Watch

The prize pool of the BLAST Premier World Finals is a massive $1 million. The amount will be distributed among the teams according to their ranking in the tournament.

  1. The winners will get $500,000.
  2. The runner-up team will get $250,000.
  3. The team in 3rd place will get $120,000.
  4. The team in 4th place will get $50,000.
  5. The teams in 5th and 6th places will get $25,000 each.
  6. The teams in 7th and 8th places will get $15,000 each.
