Azadi Quest Games – The government of India announces new online educational games as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’: In the presence of Anurag Singh Thakur, the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday, the Government of India launched ‘Azadi Quest Games’, a series of online educational mobile games as part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Talking about this initiative, Shri Anurag Thakur asserted, “These games are an effort to tap into the huge market of online gamers and to educate them through games. Various arms of the Government of India have collected information about unsung freedom fighters from the corners of the country. Azadi Quest is an effort to make this learning of this knowledge engaging and interactive. ”

The government of India announces new online educational games as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’

The Azadi Quest games will be available for Android and iOS devices in India and worldwide from September 2022. The games are based on the concept of ‘Gamification of Education’ to revolutionize the education sector in the country. There are mainly two games available – Azadi Quest: Match 3 Puzzle and Azadi Quest: Heroes of Bharat. These games have been launched in Hindi and English.

As mentioned earlier, the game series will impart the knowledge of India’s freedom struggle and the legends of the country’s great freedom fighters to its players.

Azadi Quest Games: Match 3 Puzzle and Heroes of Bharat

The first game of this series is Azadi Quest: Match 3 Puzzle. It is an easy-to-play game that presents the journey of India’s independence from 1857 to 1947. Players have to collect 75 trivia cards spread across 495 levels.

Meanwhile, Azadi Quest: Heroes of Bharat is a quiz game that tests the knowledge of the gamers about the heroes of India’s independence. This game features 750 questions, which are spread across 75 levels. It educates players about the lesser-known heroes through 75 ‘Azadi Veer’ cards.
