The managing directors of Ubisoft, Christophe Derenne and Nathalie Bouchard stated the new project as “an important upcoming, early in development project codenamed as Assassin’s Creed Infinity”. As per Bloomberg, it will be an online platform that will consist of many historical settings and will evolve over time.
This would mark a huge change in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Ubisoft officials also conveyed the message to Bloomberg that they want to exceed the expectations of fans who are asking for a more cohesive approach.
This approach by Ubisoft could bring huge success to Assassin’s Creed Infinity.
