Amouranth responds to the rumors of being removed from Twitch- Twitch sensation Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa has her own way of dealing with critics who claim that she should retire from streaming or that her time is up in the industry. Recently, she mocked comments claiming Twitch is trying to get her out of the platform. Amouranth was Twitch’s most viewed female content creator of the year 2021, with soaring numbers of followers tuning in to her content.

With the rise in her popularity from partnering with Playboy to expanding her business ventures, she has always scoffed at her haters who have shown their resentment by abusing her online and spreading rumors. In a recent interview with YouTuber Anthony Padilla she revealed that Twitch had approached her back in 2016 to use her online popularity to boost their numbers.

“You know, in 2016, they (Twitch) actually invited me to come stream,” the 28-year-old said in response to fans demanding she quit the streaming platform.” She elaborated, “Twitch had this creative category that they wanted me to stream in. Which is funny,” she continued, “because now there are all these people saying like, oh, get off our platform, Twitch is for gamers and gaming! And Twitch actually invited me to stream. In 2016 they were inviting me to join.”

With the controversial nature of Amouranth’s content including the hot tub meta and ASRM streams, many from the community had ridiculed her for taking advantage of sexually provocative content to gain popularity. They also pointed out how these contents spoil the original purpose of the platform popularly used for streaming games. However, Amouranth claimed that she made her own choice, turning a deaf ear to the chatter. She even admitted, “It wasn’t until the hot tub meta started I was like, why haven’t I done this my whole career?”

It’s clear that Amouranth won’t quit from the streaming space any time soon, exploring new ways to gain more fame, as hinted by her recently. Moreover, she has a huge fanbase that helps her rise up the ladder of success.
