Skyesports announces PNC 2023 Qualifiers with a prize pool of INR. 20,00,000

Skyesports will be hosting the PNC 2023 Qualifiers for the India Region. The winner of this Qualifier, open to all players from India, will be representing the country at the PNC 2023 in Seoul, South Korea against the top PC gaming squads of the world for the first time ever!

Skyesports, India’s leading esports tournament organizer, is bringing the PNC 2023 Qualifiers for Indian PC gamers. The qualifiers will feature a staggering prize pool of INR. 20,00,000 while also providing a platform for players to showcase their skills on a prominent platform. The PNC is a globally renowned PC gaming tournament, and the 2023 edition will be conducted in Seoul, South Korea. In Seoul, 16 of the world’s best PC squads will compete for a share of the $300,000 prize pool.

The PNC 2023 Qualifiers will feature an open-for-all format split across various stages to give every gamer a chance at going pro. Besides the chance to represent the country for the first time at the PNC 2023, the tournament will feature a staggering prize pool of INR. 20,00,000.

Commenting on the PNC 2023 Qualifiers, Shiva Nandy, Founder, and CEO, of Skyesports, said, “We are proud to be hosting the inaugural Qualifiers, which will send a team from India to PNC 2023 in South Korea for the first time. Registrations for the PNC 2023 Qualifiers are currently open on the official website until July 19. Hurry up, though, as there are only 64 open slots in the event. The Qualifier is set to happen across three phases which are as follows: 

  • Quarter Finals: July 21 and 22
  • Semi-Finals: July 23 to 25
  • Grand Finals: July 28 to 30

In the Quarterfinals, the initial 64 teams will be divided into four groups, with each group consisting of 16 teams. These groups will compete in six matches each. From each group, the six best-performing teams will move forward to the Semifinals.

During the Semifinals, the 24 remaining teams will be divided into three groups, each comprising eight teams. Throughout this stage, each team will participate in a total of 12 matches. However, only the top 16 teams with the highest scores will progress to the Grand Finale.

These 16 teams representing the best of India, will then compete in the PNC 2023 Qualifiers Grand Finals for a share of the Rs. 20,00,000 prize pool and the chance to represent the country at the PNC 2023 in South Korea. To summarize the format:

  • Quarterfinals: 64 teams split into four groups of 16. Each group plays four matches. The top six teams from each group advance.
  • Semifinals: 24 teams divided into three groups of eight. Groups compete in a round-robin with each team playing 12 matches. Only the top 16 teams move on to the Grand Finale.
  • Grand Finals: Eighteen matches across three days (six per day) to decide the champions.
