The 2023 PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) is coming to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 11-16. The event will feature a $3 million prize pool and will be the biggest PUBG Mobile tournament of the year. The PMWI will be split into two stages: the Allstars Stage and the Main Tournament. The Allstars Stage will feature 18 teams competing for a spot in the Main Tournament. The top six teams from the Allstars Stage will join the top ten teams that qualified directly through their regional championships.
The Main Tournament will be a four-day event with 24 teams competing for the championship. The winner of the PMWI will earn a share of the $3 million prize pool, as well as an additional qualification slot for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. In addition to the main competition, the PMWI will also feature a show match between DJ Alan Walker and the 2022 PMWI champions, Vampire Esports. Walker is a big fan of PUBG Mobile and has been known to play the game himself. He will be joined by Vampire Esports in a match against the host region team, R8 Esports, and Topz.
The PMWI will also feature a new challenge called the Record Breakers. This challenge will award players or teams who break any of the current PUBG Mobile records with a share of a $100,000 prize pool. The PMWI is sure to be a thrilling event and will be the perfect way to cap off the 2022 PUBG Mobile competitive season. Fans from all over the world will be able to watch the event live on the PUBG Mobile Esports channels.
