PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile is a battle royale game where four-man squads battle against each other for survival, and guns and grenades are the most important things in the game to eliminate enemies. However, friendly fire is off in PUBG Mobile, but your grenades can damage or eliminate your own teammates. The upcoming update shows that the friendly fragmentation will be removed from the upcoming 2.8 update.

Effect on Competitive Play

Grenades are an essential component of PUBG Mobile esports matches. We saw players knock out their own teammates with grenades; this provides extra enjoyment to watching esports matches, but it will be removed following the update. Currently, players fire frag grenades on opponents with the thought that their own teammate might be in danger while pushing toward the rival squad, but with this upgrade, players will be able to push on the enemy team without fear of teammates’ grenades.

However, the PUBG Mobile 2.8 update has yet to be released currently the 2.7 is running in the game. Still, multiple mixed reactions have already been received from the industry on PUBG Mobile Grenade Update. Regardless, who knows whether the upgrade will increase or dull the thrill of the game?
