After announcing the return a few days back, KRAFTON CEO Kim Chang Han provides major update on BGMI starting its service in India. The Government of India blocked the title in July 2022 due to data privacy concerns under section 69A of the IT Act. After multiple discussions and efforts from all involved parties, the Government of India has approved KRAFTON to run BGMI operations with the title promising to abide by the rules of the land. BGMI Unban Reactions
According to the official information provided by the company (Sean Hyunil Sohn) on Twitter the game will be available for download on Google Play Store and App store soon. An official statement by KRAFTON further mentioned, “Currently, the closed test track for BGMI is updated. Those who opted for a public test for the game before its launch are expected to get a message which takes them to play store for downloading the game. However, the link wont work and the game cannot be downloaded as the servers have been shut.“

BGMI Unban Date
Meanwhile, talking about the resumption of BGMI’s service in India, KRAFTON CEO Kim Chang han assured that the service will begin this month. However, as of now, there is no mention of any Unban Date of BGMI. Hence, gamers have to hold their horses for a bit before enjoying the title.
In a recent Instagram QNA Live, Kronten, GODLike Esports owner told that the game would return in four to five days. According to him, the estimated dates are around 21 or 22 May. So, gamers might see the title returning in the last week of May. Meanwhile, Gamers interested in receiving the latest notifications for the title can do so by installing the latest version of Battlegrounds Mobile India.
