BGIS 2023, which the Whole Indian gaming industry is waiting for, is around the corner, and before that, BGIS 2023 The Grind will take place. The Grind is an official scrims session held before the beginning of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 for Invited teams.

According to announcement BGIS 2023: The Grind is set to kick off on July 20, 2023, to set the stage for BGIS 2023, which is going to happen after The Grind. However, the schedule and number of matches are not confirmed, but we can make speculations based on 2021’s The Grind, which is an 8-day event with a total of 32 invited teams. There are parallels to this year as well.

BGIS 2021 The grind is plated into two stages, a league stage where a total of 32 invited teams participate, divided into four groups of A, B, C, and D; each group includes 8 teams, and teams compete in a round-robin format. 24 matches are played in the first league stage in six days. The final stage is played in two days. The top 16 teams from the league stage compete for a 200,000 INR prize pool. Team XO Triumph, with a total of 173 points, and Team TSM and Godlike secure second and third positions with 157 and 154 total points, respectively. Savitar becomes the MVP of BGIS 2021 The Grind.

However, these are simply leaks, and it is highly likely that BGIS 2023 The Grind will take place on that date. This serves as a strong indication that the official Battlegrounds Mobile India event will be happening soon.
