BGIS 2023 Grand Finals Will Take Place Offline in Mumbai, Know More

Krafton hinted that the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 Grand Finals will be a Lan event in Mumbai, check full details.

Krafton launched the teaser for the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals and hinted that it will be an offline event in Mumbai with full audience capacity. BGIS 2023 is the first major event of Battlegrounds Mobile India in the country after its unban.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India series is known for the tournaments of Underdogs teams, where Underdogs teams from all over the country battle against top teams from India. In this official event, underdog players now have a chance to show their skill in an official event in Mumbai.

BGIS 2023 Grand Finals

BGIS 2023 Grand Final is a total of three days of offline event in Mumbai from October 12th to October 14th, 2023. Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 has a prize pool of INR 2 crore, which is going to be distributed between the top 16 teams and outstanding individual performers who showcase their exceptional skills and abilities during the competition.

The teaser of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 features Gateway of India and streets of Mumbai and a full crowd cheering, indicating that BGIS 2023 Grand Finals will be an offline LAN tournament in Mumbai with a full audience capacity.

BGIS 2023, the first phase of The Grind has already started, and week 1 competition is over where groups 1 to 8 participate, with Team Godlike, Blind Esports, Numen Esports, Revenant Esports, Global Esports, and others already qualified for the next round.

BGIS 2023 Format

There are several phases in BGIS 2023, starting with The Grind, in-game qualifiers, Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Losers Bracket, Semi-Finals, and Grand Finals.

Registrations will take place from July 24th to August 2nd, with verifications taking place from August 3rd to August 9th. Players should make sure to enter their details correctly to avoid elimination in the verification stage. From August 10th to August 17th, the verified teams will engage in intense in-game qualifiers through 15 classic matches, with their top 10 match scores determining their rankings.

Of this, 2048 teams will qualify for Round 1. These 2048 teams will then play in a group of 16 from Round 1 to Round 6, wherein the top teams will keep proceeding to the next round, leading up to the electrifying Grand Finale.
