ENG vs PAK 2nd T20I: Batting fiasco

Barring the centurion Liam Livingstone, the rest of the England line-up ached with the bat. Pakistan bowlers kept chipping England’s wickets at regular intervals due to which they failed to get a good start. Though some consolidation did come from the middle order, but didn’t turn fruitful following a poor start. While Pakistan had a phenomenal 150-run opening stand, England failed miserably as they lost three wickets in less than 50 runs. Thus it is imperative for the hosts to a good start in the second contest to up their winning chances.

ENG vs PAK 2nd T20I: Loose bowling at death overs

Though the high scoring match inadvertently saw leakage of quite some runs, woes for England were very different. During the death overs- the last four over during Pakistan batting a total of 59 runs came from the visitors’ willow. The bowling numbers were exorbitant compared to what Pakistan conceded- 24 runs who also scalped regular wickets.

ENG vs PAK 2nd T20I: Pace attack lacing edge

The hosts dearly missed the services of their first-choice T20I attack – Jofra Archer, Mark Wood and Sam Curran. Besides, the exclusion of Ben Stokes who is still protecting his injured finger further devoided them from his batting and bowling services. Others need to buckle up as Pakistan have quality batters who can punish the pacers.
