eISL Season 2 Qualifiers – Karman Tikka secures the last spot for Chennaiyin FC, Aditya Chaddha and Saksham Rattan to join Mumbai City FC: The qualifiers for the second edition of eISL are well and truly underway with two teams already finding rosters for the league stage. The action-packed qualifiers have already begun, kick-starting on the 22nd of January with the last qualifier scheduled for the 31st of January. Chennaiyin FC is the defending champions of the competition, getting the first choice of qualifiers. Karman Tikka won the first qualifiers to join the Marina Machans, while Mumbai City FC found Aditya Chaddha and Saksham Rattan to their roster. eISL Season 2 Qualifiers
As of now, Chennaiyin FC and Mumbai City FC have found their full roster. Teams can retain only one player. So, Chennaiyin retained Navin Haridoss, MVP of eISL Season 1, and the Islanders opted not to retain anyone. The finalist of the Chennaiyin FC playoffs featured Karman Tikka and Afnan. Karman defeated Afnan and secured his spot.

With Mumbai City FC needing two players to fill their roster, the Finalists of the Playoffs would automatically join the Islanders. Aditya Chaddha and Saksham Rattan overcame afnan and aadizema to join Mumbai City FC.

So, by 31 January we will have the full roster of all teams. The league will be starting in the first week of February.
Meanwhile, FC Goa and East Bengal FC will have their qualifiers on 24 January 2023. Interested gamers will be allowed to register for and participate in more than one club qualifier, as long as they have not already qualified to represent a club.
