2020 saw the release of EA Sports UFC 4, which received generally negative reviews. But since this isn’t your average annual EA franchise, each new release offers more than simply the most recent roster and a gimmick.

On Instagram over the weekend, a brief teaser was posted about EA Sports UFC 5, which will have a complete content reveal in September.

UFC 5 Teaser Leaves MMA Fans Amazed

The successful 2020 video game UFC 4’s sequel, EA Sports’ UFC 5, is expected to be released at some point in 2024. The game has been in development for a while, and updates are still being developed for its predecessor, whose roster only recently received a few newer fighters.

However, a teaser trailer for UFC 5 debuted today at the X-Box Gamescon, and according to reports, further details about the game will be revealed in September.

As soon as the teaser came out MMA fans were left amazed, as one of the fans commented “ Definitely Volk.”  trying to figure out who the character in the teaser is.

An unidentified fighter in the octagon is shown in the trailer; this fighter is likely the cover star. This user claims that Alexander Volkanovski, the current featherweight champion, is the game’s cover star.

Another user responded by pointing out that the final frame appears to also depict “Alexander the Great,” emphasising that his beard is visible.

If this is the case, Volkanovski would join EA Sports cover stars Jorge Masvidal, Israel Adesanya, and Conor McGregor.
