UEFA competitions are famous for the fight among fans and the new story emerged in the Netherlands when Ajax and Marseille fans fought outside the stadiums. Some fans also threw punches next to food stalls outside the stadium. Police were later involved in this and they tried to separate both groups. It turned out to the violence.

This whole drama became serious and the Police were forced to dodge an explosion. It was done next to a van they had used to create a barrier. As per the local media, 12 Marseille fans have been arrested. Six of them were carrying a deadly weapon, and six others were arrested for loitering. This is not the first time Marseille fans involved in these things as they did the same during the UCL encounter with Tottenham last season.

Ahead of the game, flares and pyrotechnics were set off outside the home ground of Ajax. Fireworks exploded near the team hotel during the middle of the night. Police somehow managed to control the violence but it might add more episodes later in the Europa League. These fans will also be seen in England when their side meet Brighton.

Ajax and Marseille shared one point each in a crunch game of the Europa League. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace for his new club. As per reports, RIOT police were also hit with an explosion as they tried to disperse clashing both groups on Thursday.

Olympique Marseille’s fans are known for such things and they have a rich history of creating havoc during the game. Police arrested 48 Marseille supporters when their side faced Feyenoord in Rotterdam. They were arrested for igniting fireworks, causing damage, and harassing patrons at a McDonald’s.
