DreamHack Hyderabad 2022 Day 1 – Mortal, Samay, and others lit up DreamHack 2022: One of the World’s biggest Digital festivals, DreamHack 2022 is up and running at the Hitex Exhibition Center in Hyderabad. The opening day of the three-day gaming festival was graced by Samay Raina (Stand up Comedian), Naman Mathur aka MortaL, Scout, Payal Gaming, Tanmay Bhatt, and other popular influencers. One of the major highlights featured the Chess Tournament, hosted by Chase Base India in presence of Nodwin Gaming. Fan Fest competitions, Greet and Meet, and Stan Fest also caught the eye. Due to Covide-19 Pandemic, after a gap of two years, DreamHack returns, and this time in India where fans can be a part of the biggest digital festival by visiting the center as well as participating in several contests. The opening day of the festival went underway through an open challenge chase played by so many young chase players. Day 1 Rapid certainly lived up to expectations and fans would hope for the second day to go up a notch.
Another major highlight took place when star comedians joined the board in the Comedians Over the Board 2022. Samay Raina eventually won the competition overcoming Biswa in a highly-contested clash in the finals. Interested players also registered for their favorite

Meanwhile, there was also the presence of popular streamers like K18, Krutika, and Payal Gaming who had streamed for a few hours and went gaga with the vlogs at the center. Stan, an Esports Fan platform, has organized a fan Fest where fans had a chance to meet their stars. PAN Fest (BYOD) was also held ON New State Mobile with two more days yet to come. Popular Gaming companies had their own stalls with merchandise while, DreamHack had its own filled with T-Shirts, hoodies, Bottoms, Key Rings, Art, Posters, Mouse pads, electronic accessories, stickers, and many more.
Popular influencers like Naman Mathur(MortaL), Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, Payal Gaming, Krutika Plays, Scout, Viper, and a few more had a meet and greet with fans. COC Snapdragon Pro Series also went underway as we await in two days’ time. The opening day of the festival concluded DJ performance.
