Dortmund vs Bayern Munich: Borussia Dortmund have cancelled all 67,000 tickets that were to be sold for the Der Klassiker Derby against Bayern Munich in the Matchday 14 of the Bundesliga. The match is scheduled to be played on Saturday, December 4th at 11:00 PM IST.

The decision to withdraw the sale of tickets was made due to the surge in Covid cases in Germany. Many Bayern Munich players themselves have been in isolation due to few of their teammates contracting the virus.

Dortmund had sold 67,000 tickets the maximum that are allowed for the game on Saturday. However, the match could now be the third Bundesliga meeting in a row between the sides played at an empty Westfalenstadion.

Dortmund intend to put tickets back up for sale if possible but are unsure how many fans will be allowed to attend once the state of North-Rhine Westphalia announces new restrictions.

Dortmund have received positive news in terms of Erling Halland coming back from injury and scoring instantly while Gio Reyna has started training with the team following his injury.

Bayern Munich vs Dortmund Highlights: The last time these two sides met in the Bundesliga, Bayern produced an outstanding comeback to defeat Dortmund 4-2 in their Bundesliga encounter. Haaland scored a double but it was wiped off by Lewandowski’s hat-trick and then Goretzka put the icing on the cake for Bayern to seal the victory.
