Conor McGregor: Conor McGregor, who recently returned to the MMA scene as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 31 (TUF), has stated that he believes the fans are no longer interested in seeing him fight Michael Chandler, despite Chandler’s eagerness for the matchup. McGregor has not yet completed the mandatory six months of testing by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) that is required for UFC athletes before they can participate in a fight.

Michael Chandler Reacts To Conor’s Disinterest

When a fan on Twitter asked Conor McGregor why he wasn’t interested in fighting Mike Chandler, McGregor responded by saying that “l’lI do it if they want, no prob. I don’t think they want him no more tho.
There’s loads of juicy fights around and my return date is my return date.
I never gave a fu*k about who it was. Ever. l’ll fight anyone. I’ll even fly them to me, ask malinaggi. Flown in and bet around.”

Chandler expressed his skepticism towards Conor McGregor’s claim of being disinterested in the fight. Taking to Twitter, Chandler mentioned how he remembered a time when McGregor’s words carried significant credibility he said “This dude… I remember when his words held an immense amount of weight. Just tell the truth.”

Conor McGregor’s return to MMA is definite, but the exact date is yet to be confirmed. McGregor recently reassured his fans through a Twitter video, promising to document his training sessions and share them with his supporters while he finalizes his next fight.

He expressed his determination to get back in the Octagon and assured his true fans that it’s on its way.

In his most recent fight in July 2021, McGregor faced Dustin Poirier for the third time in a trilogy bout, aiming to redeem himself after a previous loss. Unfortunately, he suffered another defeat as he broke his leg in the first round.

Although the timing of his return and his next opponent remain uncertain, many fans are eagerly anticipating McGregor’s comeback and are excited to find out who he will face in his next fight.
