Despite USADA’s six-month testing restrictions, UFC President Dana White earlier had said he was optimistic about the former two-division champion competing in 2023 despite his absence. He says 2023 will be winding up with other great fights and calling it “A Great Fu**ing year”.

Dana White Calls 2023 A ‘Great Fu**ing Year’ Despite Conor’s Absence
Earlier, Dana White had said even though Conor McGregor has already passed the date for reentering USADA’s drug testing pool, he may still compete in the UFC this year. But now, as per the reports, Conor McGregor will have to wait until 2024 to make his UFC return.
McGregor hasn’t competed since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier in the first round in July 2021. That was his third defeat in his previous four fights, denting the reputation he had worked so hard to establish as he rose to the top of the promotion.
The 34-year-old is still one of the biggest names associated with the UFC, and if Jon Jones’ return is any indication, his appeal is unchanged by his protracted absence.
Despite Conor McGregor’s Absence, Dana White Calls 2023 A ‘Great Fu**ing Year’
During an episode with the HotBoxin, Dana White talked about his schedule, on how he is excited for the remaining months of 2023, he said he is mad excited. Dana White mentions he will be travelling to Nashville this weekend for a scheduled fight, he has a power slap next Wednesday that will be aired live and free on Rumble and a week after that Dana and his team will be in Boston for the title fight.
Dana says the month of August is going to be fun. He says “The end of the year is just like the glory days of boxing, as you start going into the fall and the end of the year schedule is coming up and its all fun fights”.
Dana White also gives us a small glimpse of how the October month shall look for him, he will be travelling to Abu Dhabi and then back to Paris for another Scheduled fight and alot more. He mentions the fight of Jon Jones and says that it is going to be fun and says, that 2023 has been “A great fu**ing year”.
