Chasing 173 for the win, Mumbai Indians got off to a great start courtesy of their openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. The duo put on 71 for the first wicket. Ishan was run out against the run of play for 31. Rohit Sharma was magnificent with his 65 off 45 balls as the skipper returned and roared back to form.
Tilak Varma was impressive yet again with his 41 off 29 balls. They lost wickets in clusters at the death overs. But Tim David and Cameron Green held their nerves to win the game.
David was 13* off 11 balls while Green was unbeaten on 17* off 8 balls. MI got across the line off the final ball of the game. A couple of wickets for Mukesh Kumar and a wicket to Mustafizur Rahman. Axar Patel was exceptional with the ball as kept things tight. Anrich Nortje bowled a great last over and almost stole the game but to no avail. DC tried, but were second best on the night.
