This was around the time when ‘Rowdy’s’ ascent to fame began; she went on to win her next seven fights in a row, all by way of finishes, solidifying her place among the sport’s top stars.
The winner of the UFC women’s bantamweight title isn’t like most people.
A girl sitting behind Rousey propped her feet up on the back of her chair while watching the movie Juno. At one point, she even hit Rousey in the head with her shoe. The theatre was outraged by the girl’s boyfriend’s and three other couples’ rowdy behaviour as they entered with them.
Rousey repeatedly told the girl to stop, but this bunch wasn’t willing to let some 5’7″ blonde ruin their enjoyment. In response, the girl shot Rousey a shady glare and continued playing the head-nudge game.

Rousey yanked off the girl’s shoe after the movie ended and hurled it across the theatre while yelling at the girl to “get some manners.” Rousey was forced to go get the sneaker by two of the group’s members who had cornered her. After Rousey declined, there was a pushing match before chaos broke out.
Rousey claims that she repeatedly pounded one of the attackers in the face before knocking the other one to the ground. Everyone in the auditorium stood and cheered Rousey during the little altercation since the bunch was so annoying during the movie.
