Dana White has teamed up with his former business partners Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta for a new project called The Power Slap League. In 2001, the Fertitta brothers bought UFC and appointed White as president. White continued as president when the brothers sold the business to the Endeavor Talent Agency for $4 billion in 2016.

In the PSL tournament, two competitors alternately slap each other in the face for three rounds—or less if a knockout occurs. The league received a license from the Nevada State Athletic Commission in October, making it an officially sanctioned sporting event.
