CWG 2022: India CWG athletes return: After an impressive show in Birmingham, athletes landed in batches on Tuesday. Gold medallists, including Bajrang Punia was also welcomed in Delhi while some track and field stars including Avinash Sable and Eldhose Paul have reached Bengaluru. However, PV Sindhu-led badminton players, which won an impressive count of three gold medal on the final day reached the country early hours of Wednesday. It is interesting to note that the SAI officials have welcomed the athletes at the airport to please the players. Besides, a large crowd and their well wishers have also welcomed them in different parts of the city.

Even some of the airlines have welcomed them with open arms at the airport, which is a great sight to see with some of their crew members holding banners as well.
Some of the athletes were welcomed with traditional tikas being applied on their forehead. While some athletes like Sable were carried on people’s shoulder and people enjoyed while Sable also loved the welcome.
