CSK Playing XI vs RR: Sam Curran likely to be back against Rajasthan Royals, Dwayne Bravo rested due to workload management – MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings became the first team in IPL 2021 to qualify for the playoffs after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last game. Three-time champions CSK will now face Rajasthan Royals in their next game. Rajasthan are in a Do-or-die situation while CSK will look to manage the workload of few CSK players. Dwayne Bravo who is in top-notch form with the ball could be rested and Sam Curran can take his place in the playing XI. Bravo came to IPL 2021 after participating in CPL 2021, he was also rested for CSK’s match against KKR.

Middle Order – Moeen Ali has donned the number three position in this season with 278 runs to his name. Suresh Raina’s form has been a big concern for CSK but it has not affected the team as everyone around his are scoring runs. Ambati Rayudu has also scored 195 runs in the limited opportunities that he has got. MS Dhoni’s bat was quiet for some time in this IPL, but in the game against SRH, he has shown a glimpse of form.

All-rounder – Ravindra Jadeja and DJ Bravo are in exceptional form. However, Sam Curran could be seen in the game against RR replacing Bravo. 

Pacers – Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar and Josh Hazelwood will form CSK’s pace bowling attack. All of them have been in wickets throughout the season.
