In the next season, Mumbai City will play the other three clubs in a series of home-and-away games. Mumbai City FC will face off against Nassaji Mazandaran of Iran and Navbahor of Uzbekistan in addition to Al-Hilal. Without a doubt, this poses a serious issue for the Islanders.
In addition, Mumbai City is participating in the competition for the second time in a row. In their previous business, a significant milestone had been attained. For the first time ever, an Indian club won the AFC Champions League after defeating the Iraqi Air Force squad.
They almost missed moving on to the next round despite finishing second in their group. They only finished sixth among the second-placed clubs in the Western division of the group.
