Former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan has been named the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ahead of IPL 2025. Khan, who was previously associated with Mumbai Indians, will now be a part of a new franchise. The announcement was made at a press conference called by LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka in Kolkata. Zaheer will also take up the job of bowling coach.

Zaheer Khan named new LSG mentor

LSG in their short stint has reached playoff 2 out of 3 times. I will be the bowling coach. This will be a special journey. Have played a lot of matches, spent a lot of time in the city. Will reach the city as soon as possible,” Zaheer Khan said.

The 45-year-old left-arm pacer brings with him a wealth of experience, having represented India in 92 Tests, 200 ODIs, and 17 T20Is, amassing an impressive tally of 610 international wickets.
