Chahal has been consistent in the IPL over the years, being one among the leading wicket-takers across editions. In IPL 2024, he has already grabbed 12 wickets and is currently third on the Purple Cap stadings. He is also just one wicket away from being the first player to pick 200 IPL wickets.
The ace spinner has been snubbed from Team India for quite some time. He last featured for the Men in Blue back in the India tour of West Indies. Following which he was dropped from the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup squad.
