The constant noise from construction work with heavy machinery and bulldozers can be highly disruptive. That’s precisely what a Bandra resident had to endure due to construction activity near cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s home. Frustrated by the loud sounds from a cement mixer operating outside Tendulkar’s house, the neighbour took to social media to voice his concerns, asking for some relief from the incessant noise. He also requested that the construction team stick to more reasonable working hours.
Sachin Tendulkar’s neighbour complains of constant noise
On X (formerly Twitter), the user wrote, “Dear @sachin_rt, it’s nearly 9pm, and the cement mixer that’s been outside your Bandra home all day making a loud noise is still there, still making a loud noise. Please could you ask the people working on your home to stick to reasonable hours? Thank you so much.”
The post quickly gained attention, drawing approximately 3.9K views. However, not everyone was sympathetic to the user’s approach. Many responded by criticising him for using social media to address the issue and suggested that he should have taken the matter to the Mumbai Police instead of tagging Tendulkar publicly.
