Yograj Singh flaunts Yuvraj Singh’s first car he won as Player of the Series at the U19 World Cup

Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj Singh, took everyone down memory lane as the former cricketer shared his son's first car video, which he won as the Player of the Series award in the Under-19 World Cup.

Former India cricketer and actor Yograj Singh flaunted his superstar son Yuvraj Singh’s first sports car, which he won after receiving the Player of the Series award at the ICC Men’s Under-19 World Cup held in Sri Lanka in 2000, which India won. In that edition, Yuvraj’s performance was commendable, southpaw scored 349 runs in 6 games and took 3 wickets as well.
The team was led by Mohammad Kaif, and throughout the entire tournament, Yuvraj stood out in the 16-team competition and won the Honda sports car.

Yograj shared a video on Facebook where he took his fans down memory lane, reminiscing about Yuvraj’s first sports car and how it has now been revamped, from the color to the dashboard. He also expressed his wish to take a ride with him soon.

It is important to add that right after winning the Under-19 World Cup, Yuvraj Singh took the international stage by storm, making his debut for India in the same year. Over nearly 19 years, he played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs, and 58 T20Is, excelling whenever the team needed him. From the 2007 T20 World Cup triumph to the 2011 50-over World Cup, he was always there as the big match player.

The southpaw announced his retirement in 2019, played for teams like the Punjab Kings, Pune Warriors India, Delhi Capitals, RCB, SRH, and Mumbai Indians in the IPL, and won the IPL with SRH in 2016 and with MI in 2019.
