Yoga se hi hoga: Recovering Hardik Pandya gears up for IPL 2024

With T20 World Cup 2024 ultimate target, Hardik Pandya will return to the field for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024 since injuring ankle.

Out since November, India all-rounder is gearing up for return to the cricket field ahead of busy 2024 schedule. His first assignment will be IPL 2024 where he will lead his old franchise Mumbai Indians. But IPL will only be the audition for T20 World Cup 2024. Before reporting to the National Cricket Academy, he is taking the natural route of Yoga as well as light bowling and batting drills in Baroda.

Hardik Pandya Injury

Hardik Pandya suffered an ankle injury while bowling his first over during India vs Bangladesh World Cup match. He landed awkwardly on his follow-through.

While he was expected to return in the later stages of the tournament, the severity of the ligament damage meant, he missed the World Cup as India went on to lose the final to Australia.

When will Hardik return?

However, with no surgery needed, Hardik is now expected to return in IPL 2024. He will lead Mumbai Indians after replacing Rohit Sharma as the captain that has created a storm.

But more than IPL 2024, everyone is looking at his contribution in T20 World Cup 2024. He is a crucial player for India in the USA & West Indies edition of T20 WC.

IPL will confirm whether Hardik can take the workload of bowling four overs every game as well as bat at his best.
