MI vs RR: Fans slam Irfan Pathan for excessively trolling Hardik Pandya and backing Rohit Sharma after poor knock

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has been slammed by fans for his excessive trolling of Hardik Pandya. Off late Irfan Pathan has been consistently taking digs at the new Mumbai Indians skipper. But fans have now gone on to slam Pathan when Hardik faired well but was yet criticised by the former star.

The incident took place when Irfan Pathan took to social media claiming a set batter should see his side through. This was an indirect dig towards MI skipper Hardik Pandya. Off late, Irfan Pathan has often taken digs against Hardik without naming him. But fans were left frustrated at his antics.

Fans called out the hypocrisy at this. Essentially because Rohit Sharma departed for a golden duck. The entire Mumbai Indians top order collapsed. In fact, it was Hardik Pandya who counter attacked RR. Pandya slammed a 21-ball, 34-run knock to hold the reins for his side.

Fans immediately started to slam Irfan Pathan after his comment. They brought reference to Rohit Sharma’s poor knock when Irfan stayed mum on the issue. Let us check some of the reactions below –
