Young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal continued his red-hot form from last Test as the Indian opener bring up his second consecutive fifty in IND vs WI 2nd Test. Jaiswal played a second fiddle to skipper Rohit Sharma who scored a quick fifty early on.
Jaiswal’s half-century came in a run-a-ball as he alongwith skipper Rohit Sharma punished WI bowlers. The duo completed another century partnership as India cruise to 121/0 in first session.

Earlier, West Indies skipper Kraigg Brathwaite won the toss and opted to field first at Port of Spain, Trinidad in what is the 100th meeting between the two teams.

Team India and West Indies are playing their 100th Test against each other. Both sides first played Test match against each other in 1948.
Test rivalry between India and West Indies saw contrasting eras.The Caribbean side dominated the games in early 70s & 80s while, Team India holds more superiority in the recent past.

West Indies have failed to win a single Test against India since 2002. They last defeated India in May 2002 when Carl Hooper-led side registered a 155-run victory against Men in Blue.
