Chasing a target of 179 runs, Jaiswal formed a crucial partnership with Shubman Gill to get the visitors off to a flying start. “Of course, it is not easy. I am too happy to go out there and express myself. I would like to thank Hardik bhai and all the support staff, the way they went and the way they spoke to me before the match. Yeah, that was good. I think I try to play how the team needs, I try to think how quickly I can get the runs and how many shots I can get the shots inside the powerplay. And of course, reading the situation and to go along with it. But my aim is to score runs according to the situation,” Jaiswal said at the post match presentation.
