Yashasvi Jaiswal fails to replicate heroics as Mark Wood strikes in IND vs ENG 3rd Test

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the first India batter to depart as Mark Wood struck early on Day 1 of IND vs ENG 3rd Test at Rajkot

Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal enjoyed a short stint at the crease before Mark Wood struck in IND vs ENG 3rd Test at Rajkot. The swashbuckling opener couldn’t live up to the expectations after his blazing double century in the previous game at Vizag.

The southpaw was caught out by Joe Root after he edged a delivery of the pacer. He managed to last for 10 deliveries and scored 10 runs, including two boundaries.

IND vs ENG: Wood strikes to send Jaiswal packing

India won the toss at Rajkot and opted to bat first. India went in with four changes. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja came in for Axar Patel, and Mohammed Siraj replaced Mukesh Kumar. Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel were handed their India Test caps and are making their debut in the 3rd Test.
