The BCCI on Tuesday announced the Irani Cup squad for Rest of India, where the likes of Yash Dayal and Dhruv Jurel were included as well. The duo, who were initially named in the India squad for the Bangladesh Test series, still haven’t been released from the squad, and their participation is only subject to them not playing in the second Test.
On the other hand, Sarfaraz Khan will be released to represent Mumbai in the Irani Cup from October 1-5, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The second IND vs BAN Test starts in Kanpur from September 27.
