Shukla highlighted the warm hospitality and the incredible atmosphere created during the tour, which fostered great friendship and camaraderie between the two nations. He also mentioned how cricket has always been an important medium for building bridges between India and Pakistan.

Shukla’s comments came during a discussion about the possibility of future bilateral series between the two countries, with the BCCI Vice President expressing hope that such tours could resume, pending government approval.

To note, team India will participate in the upcoming Champions Trophy, but they will not visit Pakistan to play their games. Instead, the Men in Blue will play their matches in UAE including their match against the hosts Pakistan.
