England have jumped up a spot in the world Test Championship standings following their 3-0 whitewash of New Zealand. Under new captain Ben Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum, England played an attacking brand of cricket to clinch the series chasing targets in each game.

Before the series, England had only 1 win under their belt in the new cycle, but three wins on the trot has improved their position ahead of the rescheduled IND vs ENG 5th test at Edgbaston. Stokes and Co. however still have work to do, with West Indies and Pakistan significantly ahead in the table.

As for New Zealand, the defending champions are all but knocked out of contention for a place in the final. The Kiwis suffered series defeats against England and India, while only managed draws against South Africa and Bangladesh at home.

Meanwhile, India are currently third behind South Africa and Australia in the standings. India will play a Test starting on July 1st against England At Edgbaston. Meanwhile, Australia also prepare for a series against Sri Lanka.
