WPL 2024 Points Table (Updated): RCB lose top spot to DC, Giants languish at the bottom despite win

Royal Challengers Bangalore have displaced the defending champion Mumbai Indians to take the top spot.

Facing a 19-run defeat at the hands of Beth Mooney’s Gujrat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore moved down to the second spot in the WPL 2024 Points Table. Meg Lanning’s Delhi Capitals go to the top of the WPL standings with 8 points from 4 wins in 5 matches. Despite the win, Gujarat Giants stay still at the bottom of the table with only one win in 5 matches and an NRR of -1.278.

MI and RCB battle for the top spot

Having moved down to the second spot on the WPL points table, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have occupied the top spot once again. Smriti Mandhana led her side to a tight two-run win over the UP Warriorz at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium three days ago and has now claimed an 8-wicket win to overtake the Mumbai Indians.
