Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the defending champions of the upcoming WPL 2025.

WPL 2025: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is set to begin on February 6, 2025, and will continue until March 09, 2025. This year, the tournament promises to be an electrifying showcase of women’s cricket, featuring five competitive teams. The WPL, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has gained immense popularity and serves as a platform for women cricketers to exhibit their talent on a global stage.

WPL 2025 start date

After BCCI framed the window for IPL 2025 starting from March 14, recent reports reveal that WPL start date is tentatively scheduled to start ahead of the IPL. WPL is expected to take place over a month, likely between February 6 and March 9, 2025. Although the precise dates and schedule are still being finalized, as per a report from Cricbuzz, the BCCI has communicated the tentative start date to the franchises.
