WPL Retention 2025: Full list of released players from all teams

Find out the list of players released before the WPL (Women's premiere League) 2025 auction .

With the Women’s Premier League (WPL) gearing up for its highly anticipated third season in 2025, teams are strategically finalising their lineups through retention and release choices.

As it’s a mini-auction, teams have released a large number of players. However, franchises like Gujarat Giants, who failed to finish in the top three last season, have taken some big steps, like releasing Sneh Rana and 5 other players from the team. With an increased auction purse this time, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians retained their core and only released 4-4 players from their teams.
