Just a couple of days remain ahead of the WPL 2025 Auction. Defending Champions – Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women’s team looks most sorted. Last month on WPL 2025 Retention Day, the RCB side retained almost their entire core setup and now needs just 4 players to complete the roster.
What RCB need to do in the Auction?
RCB Women will be the most relaxed team in the WPL 2025 Auction on 15th December. The team has just 4 openings remaining to complete their roster. Furthermore, there are no openings left to accommodate overseas stars. Thus the job becomes much easier, as the team needs only 4 Indian stars.
The team also has a steady budget of 3.25 crores which will be enough to accommodate 4 Indian players. But the question remains – What players do RCB Women need?
While Ellyse Perry and Sophie Devine will handle the bowling duties, the team will also need a backup pacer who can work as a second fiddle to Renuka Singh. The likes of Falak Naz or even S Yashari can be a good addition. Coming to the middle order, the team can do with some additions. Here Tanusree Sarkar can be a good fit down the order.
