The second edition of the Women's Premier League is set to begin on February 23, and the Final will be played on March 17.

With less than two weeks left before the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 kickoffs, all five teams have begun their preparations for the second edition of the league.

The defending champions, the Mumbai Indians (MI), were the first team to begin preparations for their title defense. Indian players like Yastika Bhatia, Amanjot Kaur, Humairaa Kaazi, Saika Ishaque, Jintimani Kalita, Sajana Sajeevan, Keerthana Balakrishnan, Priyanka Bala, and Fatima Jaffer have already joined the training camp, and the remaining players will arrive in batches. Foreign players are expected to join the team around February 14.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have also seen several stars turn up at their camp. Ekta Bisht, Sobhana Asha, Indrani Roy, Simran Bahadur, Sabbhineni Meghana, Shreyanka Patil, Disha Kasat, and head coach Luke Williams have already arrived. The remaining players are expected to join the side by February 14.

Similar to MI, UP Warriorz started its training camp on February 11. Vrinda Dinesh, Shweta Sehrawat, and Kiran Navgire have already arrived, and the remaining batches of cricketers, including foreign players, are set to arrive by the 14th.

Last year’s runner-ups, the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants, are yet to share updates regarding cricketers reaching their WPL 2024 camps.
