WPL 2023: Jemimah super proud of her family for entertaining the crowd, says I love my family
For the unversed, the Rodrigues are a close-knit family, and always support each other during the good and bad times. Jemimah has two brothers, and they always have Jemi’s back. It was no different during the Capitals’ first match against RCB in WPL 2023. When the right-hand batter came to batting Eli came up with this innovative song and egged the audience to sing along with him. Jemimah was touched by her family’s gesture, and she took to Instagram saying, “I love my Family.”
Capitals started the WPL 2023 on a winning note as it beat pre-tournament favorites RCB by 60 runs. It was an all-round display by Capitals, with Meg Lanning, Shafali Verma, and Tara Norris the catalyst of the win. The Capitals will face UP Warrioz next in their second game on March 07.
