Kiran Prabhu Navgire (UP Warriorz)

Kiran Prabhu Navgire is the first Indian to hit a 150-plus score in a T20 encounter during her record-breaking 76-ball 162 for Nagaland against Arunachal Pradesh. Thanks to her exploits in the Women’s T20 Challenge, She got her maiden India call-up. However, she failed to capitalize on the given opportunity. Playing for UP Warriorz, Kiran will be desperate to perform and help her side to clinch the prized trophy.

Amanjot Kaur (Mumbai Indians)

Amanjot can hit the ball hard and also bowl seam – qualities which most teams like. The all-rounder won the Player of the Match award on her T20I debut for India for her exploits with the bat. She can come in handy with her left-arm medium pace as well.

Shreyanka Patil (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Shreyanka Patil is an off spinner who bats at 5 for Karnataka. She finished as the second highest wicket taker in the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy last season. RCB have an abundance of riches in their batting and seam bowling department, but will be relying on some younger Indians for their overs of spin. Which is where local girl Shreyanka’s skillset could be invaluable.

Ashwani Kumari (Gujarat Giants)

Ashwani Kumari, who hails from Govindpur in Jamshedpur, is known for her explosive batting and effective fast bowling. Opening the batting after Roy moved to Railways, Ashwani scored 237 runs in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy earlier in the season at a strike rate of 135.42. On February 13, Gujarat Giants welcomed Ashwani for 35 Lakh during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auctions.

But the Women’s Premier League (WPL) has given her another opportunity to revive her career, and also dream of donning the India colors again. Now a mother of two-year-old Kriva, Deepthi is back training with the Delhi franchise and eagerly waiting for the WPL to begin on March 4.
