Australia lifts the World Cup for a record 6th time. Tasked to chase 241 runs, Travis Head took the responsibility on his shoulders to slam a magnificent 137-run knock. Batting first India succumbed under pressure and dual fifties from Kohli & KL Rahul helped the Men in Blue post 240 runs on the board.

But it was the overall show of the Men in Yellow who dominated every aspect of the final to seal the tie. The Indian bowlers started well as both Bumrah & Shami scalped early wickets but Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagned stitched a 150+ run partnership to guide their side to win the World Cup.
