Former New Zealand skipper Amy Satterthwaite returned to cricket in 2021 after delivering Grace with her partner and teammate Lea Tahuhu. Both the players represented their country during the ongoing World Cup.

  1. Bismah Maroof

Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof took the internet by storm when she landed in New Zealand with her six-month-old daughter Fatima. Maroof had her mother to take care of her daughter when she was away playing cricket. Maroof scored a valiant 50 against Australia and dedicated to her baby. She also never misses an opportunity to be with her kid when she is not playing. The southpaw has juggled both with aplomb.

Maroof is changing the perception and is inspiring everyone to follow their passion.  Her message is clear – play the game as well as do motherhood duties with ease.

  1. Amy Satterthwaite

Amy Satterthwaite became a mother to a beautiful daughter Grace. She was out of cricketing action for close to one year. Eventfully, she returned in 2021 and has since then not looked back. The southpaw breached the 4000 run-mark in the ongoing Women’s World Cup. She almost also got New Zealand through to the semifinals with her shrewd captaincy against England.

Satterthwaite’s partner Tahuhu is also a cricketer. When both are playing, the nanny takes care of the child. All the New Zealand players also love Grace and are around with her during their free time.

West Indies cricketer Afy Fletcher returned to cricket after giving birth to a child during the ongoing World Cup. Fletcher did not waste any opportunity to make an impact with her off-spin. She picked up 3 wickets and also scored crucial 17 runs against Bangladesh. The icing on the cake was her phone celebration to her baby after taking every wicket.

  1. Lizelle Lee

South Africa opener Lizelle Lee had to leave her 19 days kid in South Africa to be with the team during the World Cup. The right-hand batter’s partner Tanja Cronje gave birth to a baby. Cronje and the kid have not traveled to New Zealand. Lee though misses them and speaks regularly to the family when not playing cricket.

Australia pacer Megan Schutt also recently had a baby with her partner. The couple had to undergo a lot during the kid’s birth. Schutt though did not lose hope and encouraged her partner to be strong. Eventfully, the kid’s health condition got getter and by god’s grace, everything is okay. Schutt has returned to cricket also.

Australia cricketer Jess Duffin became a mother to a beautiful daughter Georgie in 2020. She was Renegades captain in WBBL. The batter did not participate in the 2020 edition of WBBL. Duffin though returned post-pregnancy during the 2021 edition and seemed fit and fine. Georgie would also be around dung the WBBL games.

Australia vice-captain Rachael Haynes is also a mother. Her partner Leah Poulton gave birth to their first kid. Haynes took a bit of a break but soon returned to action during the ongoing World Cup. The southpaw speaks time to time with her family and also manages to be a pro in cricket.
